Oak Ridge, Tennessee NAC Philotechnics, a full-scope radiological, health physics, waste management, and integrated processing/brokerage services company, as part of ITP America, LLC Joint Venture (Insight Environmental Engineering & Construction, Inc., Tidewater, Inc., and NAC Philotechnics, Ltd.) was one of six firms selected for the combined $240 million RADMAC III multiple-award contract to provide radiological services for the U.S. Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest (NAVFAC).

Under RADMAC III, ITP America will provide radiological services to perform investigative or remedial actions at environmentally contaminated sites. Work will be performed at various locations across the NAVFAC enterprise worldwide. With the base and option periods, RADMAC III is anticipated to run through November 2033.

“RADMAC III fits well within the company’s mission to provide the most responsive and innovative solutions to accomplish client remedial goals on the west coast and worldwide,” said NAC Philotechnics President Ken Grumski.

NAC Philotechnics Radiological and Waste Management Services business units have been supporting NAVFAC to address environmentally contaminated sites and hazardous and radioactive waste for more than a decade. NAC Philotechnics will continue its commitment to NAVFAC by using its patent pending ANQR™ (Advanced Nuclear Quality Radiological) Survey System to acquire and map precise locations and levels of radiation and radiological contamination.

ANQR provides indoor and outdoor mapping with real-time radiation synchronization using advanced 3-D spatial coordinates and trajectory analysis. ANQR will give NAVFAC the highest level of accuracy and quality for indoor and outdoor radiological surveys, depicting radiation and contamination intensity gradients for strategic planning and safety, ensuring no area is overlooked, and removing human and transcription errors.
