		To shield the radiation, the fuel will be sealed in five stainless steel canisters with half inch thick walls and a honeycomb rack with boral “poison mats” to catch stray neutrons. Each canister weighs about 10 tons and cost upwards of $500,000. Loaded, it will tip the scales at 55,000 pounds.
