In partnership with the U.S. Nuclear Industry Council (NIC), the Institute of Nuclear Materials Management (INMM) will present the 35thSpent Fuel Management Seminar at the Hilton Alexandria Old Town in Alexandria, Va., January 28-30, 2020. Jeff England, NAC Director of Transportation and Packaging Solutions, will welcome attendees in opening remarks in his role as the Chair of the INMM Packaging, Transportation, and Disposition Technical Division. 

NAC will also be represented by Mike McMahon, NAC Vice President of Consulting, who will participate on a January 29 panel, addressing the seminar on spent fuel management activities. Mike will also chair a special panel session on recycling options for spent fuel on January 30. Juan Subiry, NAC Vice President of Market and Product Strategy, will speak on January 30, about readiness by 2023 for transportation of commercial spent fuel.

Other seminar topics of interest include used fuel safeguards and security, U.S. political considerations, and international programs. NAC is sponsoring the opening reception on Tuesday evening, and we look forward to spending time with our fellow colleagues there!
