Yogesh Parmar

Mr. Yogesh Parmar has worked in the nuclear industry since 1993 in key technical and management positions including as engineer, core designer, project manager, group lead, department head, and business area head.

He has worked for a vendor/supplier (ABB Atom, now Westinghouse), utilities (Axpo and BKW), and a consulting engineering company (AF-Consult, now AFRY). Mr. Parmar can support diverse projects, with more than 30 years of proven experience in managing large international projects in the nuclear field. His fuel management experience has encompassed the entire nuclear fuel cycle: licensing, manufacturing, design, in-core fuel management, fuel performance, transportation, interim storage, and final storage. Other work scope managed by Mr. Parmar included design of facilities for nuclear waste management and storage, nuclear new build projects, owner’s and vendor’s engineering lead for nuclear new build organizations, and localization and other sourcing for nuclear new build projects.

He is currently performing price monitoring for a new build nuclear power plant in West Asia. As Project Manager, he leads a team of 25 experts focused on providing best value for construction materials and equipment available in the region.
