George Carver

Vice President, Engineering and Licensing

George Carver is Vice President, Engineering and Licensing. He is responsible for all design, engineering processes, licensing actions and engineering deliverables in support of all NAC dry cask storage and/or transportation projects, and he is responsible for coordinating the activities of a broad spectrum of engineering professionals in this capacity.

Mr. Carver has over 30 years of engineering and design experience, with over 25 years focused in the nuclear fuel handling and spent fuel cask industry. He has been responsible for engineering, design and licensing activities for 11 systems certified by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering technology from the Southern College of Technology.
