George Carver

Chief Technology Officer

George Carver is NAC’s Chief Technology Officer. After serving for more than 13 years as Vice President of Engineering for NAC, Mr. Carver now leads the R&D team in product development, as NAC expands its portfolio of versatile packaging solutions for storage, transport, and disposal of nuclear materials and radioactive waste.

Mr. Carver has over 30 years of engineering and design experience, with over 25 years focused in the nuclear fuel handling and spent fuel cask industry. He has been responsible for engineering, design and licensing activities for 14 systems certified by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering technology from the Southern College of Technology.
